• Original title  (signed by owner or owners as shown on the front).

• Odometer disclosure statement if vehicle is newer than 10 years.

• Copy of current tag receipt if purchased from individual  (to verify no back tax is due).

• New owner or owners must be present to sign title application (unless a notarized power of attorney form is used).

• Proof of Residency (Utility bill or other item with home address indicated).

• Window sticker with MSRP for new cars  (All 2002 models and some 2001 models).

IF YOU HAVE A TITLE APPLICATION

• Title Application

• Copy of current tag receipt  (if purchased from an individual, to verify no back tax is due)

• Window sticker with MSRP for new cars  (All 2002 models and some 2001 models).

• Seller shall remove license plate from the vehicle and surrender the tag and receipt to the tax collectors office for credit towards another tag or a certificate of credit.  No refunds.

• (Bring tag within the same month the vehicle is sold)
