Established in 1976, the DeSoto County Law Library provides legal information services to the general public. With an on-site collection of over 6,000 volumes, as well as access to many relevant online databases; the DeSoto County Law Library prides itself on its ability to give you access to the legal resources you need. The Law Library is funded through court fees of DeSoto County and its municipalities.Those wishing to use the Law Library resources can do so Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A librarian is on duty from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. After 12:00 p.m. a key is available from the Information Desk of the County Administration Building, which is located at 365 Losher Street in Hernando. The DeSoto County Law Library does not provide internet access, other than to subscribed sites which can be accessed from the Law Library computer.
